This is an interesting variant of the BrotherHobby bottomless design from HeliNation. The coloring and unique bell design give it a nice visual appeal, but do add a bit of weight, bring the motor up to just over 29g from the sub 28g of the typical design.  The weight is not significant though, and the build quality is excellent.  One of the strong points of this motor is the thick material at the motor mount, and the 16x16 mount hole pattern. Combined with the large 4x9x4 bearings, this motor should take abuse very well without deforming the base or bearing race. Definitely some great choices by HeliNation on the design parameters.

One of the more interesting things to note with this motor is the kV tested a bit lower than stated, coming in at 2460kv.  Despite the lower kV here the performance on this motor was strong, especially given the 2206 stator size.  Even on the lightest 5" props it had no trouble clearing 1300g of thrust at very respectable 28A, and easily clearing 1400g on the mid-weight 5" props.  The motor flags a bit against the 2306 and 2207 motors in the same weight class as it approaches the heavier props, but ony slightly, approching but not quite hitting 1500g on the heavier 5" props.  I generally don't test anything that states over 2500kv on 6" props, but this motor would have no trouble pushing light 6" props as well, like the HQ 6x3.5 or various light 6x4 props. Overall a strong option from HeliNation.
