This is the next of the RCINPower GT2205 series motors.  Thanks to RCINPower for sending these motors over for testing.

As with the 2300kv version of this moter, I was extremely impressed with the build quality of this motor.  Tolerances are very tight, and the 4mm bearings make this motor extremely smooth.  This is just a very aesthetically pleasing motor.  The design looks and feels great.  It has the same wide but thing N52H magnets, and other than the windings is essentially identical to the 2300kv and 2700kv edition.  My complaint is the same here with the cooling system missing the fins that actually make it work as an active cooling system, but as I mentioned in the 2300kv test, the H magnets make the cooling much less of an issue.  The biggest downside of these motors is the weight, still hitting the 30g mark, which might eliminate them for those looking for light weight builds.  It puts them in the same weight class as a number of 2206 motors which are in a very different class of performance.  Overall though these are very solid motors, well designed and well put together.

Once again I was very impressed with the results here.  This is a very strong motor. putting out excellent numbers across the whole range.  It seems to have a bit less efficiency than some of the other motors in it's class, hitting 33A on the 5x4x3, but that seems to only be on the very top end.  The lower ranges seem very comparable to the other 2205 high KV N52 motors on the market. Light weight 5" props should be killer on this motor without destroying the battery, and the heavier props should be ballistic, but high current draw. This motor comes in a close second to the RS2205 2600kv, loosing a bit of thrust and a bit of efficiency over the slightly higher KV Emax.  I will be very curious to see the results of the 2700kv RCINPower as a comparison point, given the level of performance of this 2550kv.
