Following on the very solid results of the 2300kv version, I was very curious to see how this high KV version of the Rifle motor would do.  For a full discussion of the designe features and quality of the Rifle series, check out the write-up on that motor here.  I won't spend much time on that here, othere than to mention that build and production quality is identical, with no noticable variation.  The motor is about 0.5g lighter due to a few less turns on the windings, but that is it.  Now on to the good stuff!

This motor definitely continues the trend of the lower KV Rifle.  Performance here is very solid, easily clearing 1500g on the heavier 5" props, and reaching over 1200g even on the humble 5x4 dual blade.  One of the notable things here is that the KV tested a bit higher than I was expecting, but for the KV the efficiency of this motor is really solid.  RPM loss under load thanks the the very tight air gap and strong magnets is minimal, but current draw is a good bit lower than some of the other competing motors in it's KV and weight class. It actually has a very similar thrust, efficiency, and response profile to the F40Pro 2400kv, which given it's smaller stator size (2206 vs 2306) and slightly lighter weight (31.5g vs 32.4g) is quite impressive.  The F40Pro pulls ahead a bit on the heavier 5" props in terms of thrust, which is expected given the stator difference, but comes at the cost of a bit of amp draw as well. Overall some really solid performance that won't be quite so hard on the packs. An excellent addition to an excellent line from RMRC.
